Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who became the nation's love interest after winning the American Idol title during the very first season of the show. The singer was not just a celebrity after winning as she was signed to a recording contract by RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records' for numerous albums. Since her win, she's released a number of studio albums. Of these albums three of them made it to the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a two centimeters off. She is one of the most popular artists to come out of The American Idol series. She started to explore themes and songs as her success grew. With her distinct voice and unique ability, she was awarded high praise and various distinctions. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical career, she's appeared in film and television shows. She is also the author of the popular children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is a part of a variety of charities.
