Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle worked as her manager when she was in her teens. Her first job was as an actress at four years old. She worked as an additional on TV shows including Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her career. When she was 13 in 1995, she was cast in her first feature film Friday. The role she played as Cisely, a troubled teenager from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. For this she was nominated for two awards including her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good performed in short films as well as on TV in the following time. The actress began taking on more mature roles in the early years of 2000. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter show, she portrayed Nina. Her role was as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. series Cousin SKeeter from 1998 until 2001. The show ran from 1998 to 2001. She also played minor role on the film House Party, Down to the Very Final Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She played the role of Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She appeared on D.E.B.S (2004), a comedy action movie. This movie earned her nomination for Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. Then she appeared in movies such as You Got Served the Cookout, Venom One Missed call Waist Deep, as well as The Love Guru. While active in 2012, she also appeared seen on T.V. In addition to films in which she starred as Mya and her character Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with the entire cast as well as Dysfunctional Friend starring a small group. The actress began her screen career in 2010 on the web-based series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had performed in several local productions prior to her screen debut in 2010, made it part of Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. This reality series revolves around a troupe of actors who move into the same Hollywood California house.
